Claudia Sheinbaum's government will start credentialing for universal health service in April, according to Eduardo Clark, Deputy Health Secretary.

The Mexican government, under the administration of Claudia Sheinbaum, announced that starting in April, it will begin the credentialing process for the universal health service. This program aims to ensure that all citizens can access medical services equitably and efficiently. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the public health system in the country.

Eduardo Clark, Deputy Secretary of Sectoral Integration and Development at the Ministry of Health, was responsible for providing details about this new system. He explained that the universal health credential will serve as a single document to identify beneficiaries and facilitate their access to consultations, treatments, and medications in public health institutions.

The implementation of this credential seeks to eliminate bureaucratic barriers and reduce inequality in access to healthcare. The registration process is expected to be simple and accessible to the entire population, prioritizing the most vulnerable groups. With this measure, the government aims to move towards a more inclusive and quality health system for all Mexicans.
