Vance calls Iran's 'garbage' 10-point plan 'probably written by ChatGPT'

VP Vance dismisses Iran's peace plan as ChatGPT-written 'garbage'. Israel bombs Lebanon as Iran vows revenge, while Trump considers punishing NATO allies over Iran war support.

Washington and Tehran are sparring over ceasefire terms as Israel continues to bomb Lebanon. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that a ceasefire and negotiations with the US are 'unreasonable,' accusing Washington of violating three of Tehran's ten conditions to end the war.

Vice President J.D. Vance claimed he has seen three different versions of Iran's 10-point demands, which have contributed to 'misunderstanding.' Vance dismissed the first draft as 'probably written by ChatGPT' and said it went straight 'in the garbage.' Washington and Tehran agreed to a two-week suspension of warfare after President Trump said Iran's second proposal delivered via Pakistan offers a 'workable basis on which to negotiate.'

However, the deal appears flimsy following multiple violations ahead of planned talks in Pakistan. Israel launched its 'biggest yet' series of attacks on Beirut, reportedly killing hundreds of civilians on Wednesday. Iran has decried the 'savage massacre,' and the commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force has pledged revenge.

Meanwhile, Trump is reportedly mulling ways to punish NATO members who refused to help the US in its war against Iran. The bloc's chief Mark Rutte praised Trump's 'leadership,' while admitting that 'some' members failed the test. The Trump administration could pull out American troops from European NATO member states that closed their airspace to US warplanes or limited the use of their bases for strikes on Iran.
