Ex-Homeland Security chief's husband led double life as cross-dresser

Former US Homeland Security chief Kristi Noem 'devastated' after Daily Mail reveals husband's secret life as cross-dressing fetishist, spending thousands on online models.

Kristi Noem, former US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) secretary, said she was 'devastated' to learn the details of her spouse's double life. According to a Daily Mail investigation, Bryon Noem, an insurance executive, used the alias 'Jason Jackson' to engage in the 'bimbofication' scene, a subculture focused on exaggeratedly feminine, Barbie doll aesthetics. The report reveals he sent at least $25,000 to online models, lavished praise on their surgically enhanced bodies, and shared selfies wearing tight pink shorts, crop tops, and prosthetics mimicking large breasts.

Noem, often dubbed 'ICE Barbie' online for her glamorous appearance, led the DHS from early 2025 until her removal in March, overseeing controversial ICE immigration operations. Messages reviewed by the Daily Mail show Bryon Noem commented on alleged rumors of his wife's affair with longtime Trump operative Corey Lewandowski, stating: 'I know. There's nothing I can do about it.' This has prompted warnings from former intelligence officials about potential blackmail risks, given Kristi Noem's access to sensitive national security operations.

When contacted, Bryon Noem did not deny the explicit conversations or photos but rejected suggestions he made indiscreet comments about his wife or endangered national security. A representative for Kristi Noem told the New York Post she was 'devastated' and that 'the family was blindsided by this.' The couple, married since 1992, have three adult children.

President Donald Trump said he 'feels badly for the family' when asked about the reports. Kristi Noem was removed from her DHS position amid mounting controversies, including criticism over immigration enforcement tactics and two fatal shootings by federal agents. She has since been named special envoy for the 'Shield of the Americas' initiative.
